Accommodation for the inner circle

Every wedding has a small group you would like to keep together: the couple's parents, brothers and sisters, the witnesses. Hélios and Cassiopée, the two flats in our 1920s Art Deco villa, can be booked together for 8 guests: 4 bedrooms (two 160 cm beds and four singles), 2 bathrooms and two fully equipped kitchens. Each flat can also be booked on its own, for 4 guests plus a baby.

  • Two flats and two bathrooms, so nobody queues to get ready on Saturday.
  • An iron and ironing board for shirts and dresses creased in the suitcase.
  • Bed linen and towels supplied with the cleaning and linen fee: nothing to bring.
  • Baby equipment (travel cot, high chair, baby bath) if a little one is coming too.
  • A fully equipped kitchen and a Nespresso machine for breakfast the morning after, whenever people surface.

What the villa is not: a party venue

To avoid any misunderstanding: the villa cannot be hired for a reception, a drinks party or an evening do. It holds two flats, one above the other, sound carries, and the house rules are simple: no parties, quiet hours from 10 pm to 9 am, and a maximum of 4 guests per flat, plus a baby. Coming back late and quietly from the celebrations is fine; carrying on the party at the villa is not. Dinner and the dance floor are what the venue is for.

Getting the timing right

Book as soon as you know the date

Weddings cluster on Saturdays from May to September, which are also the busiest weekends in the resort. As soon as the save-the-date lands, secure your accommodation: options for a group of 8 in the town centre go quickly. Check our Le Touquet events calendar too, as a big event on the same weekend makes everything tighter, from restaurants to taxis.

Friday to Sunday

The minimum stay is two nights, which fits the rhythm of a wedding nicely: arrive on Friday from 3 pm, ceremony and celebrations on Saturday, home on Sunday. Check-out is normally by 11 am. Book direct and you pay less than on Airbnb, and subject to availability we offer a late check-out, very welcome after a short night, or an early check-in on Friday. Everything is explained on our book direct page.

Getting to the town hall, church or venue

The villa is right in the centre, about 200 m from rue Saint-Jean and 300 m from the beach. If the ceremony takes place in the resort, some journeys can be made on foot. Many of the area's reception venues, however, are out in the countryside, inland or along the river valleys, a few tens of minutes away by road. A few good habits:

  • Ask the couple whether a shuttle is running between the ceremony, the reception and the accommodation.
  • Book your taxi or ride home several days ahead: on summer Saturday nights they are in high demand.
  • Otherwise, choose a designated driver and do the drive once in daylight.
  • To leave the car during your stay, see our tips on parking in Le Touquet.

Coming from further afield? The train to Étaples-Le Touquet station is a good option: the station is about 5 km from the centre, with a taxi or bus for the last stretch. Routes are set out in how to get to Le Touquet.

The morning after, at your own pace

Sunday morning is often the best part of the weekend: everyone gathers round the big wooden table for a late breakfast, the highlights of the night before get replayed, then a walk on the beach clears the head before the drive home. If the couple are hosting a brunch, you are in the middle of the resort, a few minutes from everything.

What does it cost?

Each flat costs from €140 a night, plus a €50 cleaning and linen fee. For a two-night weekend for four, that means from €330 per flat, and from €660 to bring 8 guests together in both. Rates vary with the season and dates; they appear alongside live availability on the booking page.

Charles's tip: if you are a parent or witness of the couple, book both flats and invite another couple from the family to share the villa. Each pays for their own flat, and the little group stays together for getting ready on Saturday and for Sunday's brunch.
