Villa Mon Étoile is an Art Deco villa built around 1920 at 40 rue d'Étaples, right in the centre of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, 300 m from the beach and 200 m from rue Saint-Jean. It houses two 55 m² holiday apartments, Hélios and Cassiopée, each sleeping 4 people plus a baby.
We are the villa's hosts, and Charles welcomes guests himself. Here is what you need to know about the house, its location and its two apartments, without embellishment.
A 1920s villa in the heart of Le Touquet
The villa was built around 1920, when Le Touquet-Paris-Plage was filling up with villas and Art Deco was taking hold in the resort. It has been carefully renovated, keeping what gives it its character: high ceilings, period doors with glazed transoms above them, wooden floors and original bookcases.
Le Touquet is a true showcase of early 20th-century seaside architecture: Anglo-Norman villas, chalets, Art Deco façades; the town protects this heritage within a designated heritage area (site patrimonial remarquable). Staying in one of these houses means enjoying generous proportions and a quality of light rarely found in modern buildings, with the comfort of a full renovation: fitted kitchen, new bedding, modern bathroom. The villa is part of this story, in a neighbourhood where an interesting façade awaits on every street corner.

A location where everything is within walking distance
The villa is on rue d'Étaples, a street running parallel to rue Saint-Jean, between the main shopping street and the Quentovic district. It is the point our guests mention most often: you park the car and never use it again.
| From the villa | Distance |
|---|---|
| Rue Saint-Jean (shops, restaurants) | about 200 m |
| Beach and seafront promenade | about 300 m |
| Free parking in the Quentovic area | a few minutes' walk |
| Étaples-Le Touquet station | about 15 minutes by bike |
Despite this central location, the street is quiet and the bedrooms face the courtyard. Parking is paid on rue d'Étaples; there is usually space in the beach car parks, and free spaces in Quentovic. All the access details are in our guide how to get to Le Touquet.

Hélios and Cassiopée: two twin apartments
The two apartments have the same floor area (55 m²), the same layout and the same level of equipment: two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room with open-plan kitchen, a terrace and balconies. What sets them apart is the floor and the atmosphere.
Hélios, on the 1st floor
Named in tribute to the Sun, personified in Greek mythology as Helios, the apartment was fully renovated in 2021. The colours are inspired by nature, with an ochre bathroom, and natural materials dominate: wood, woven straw, bamboo, seagrass. It is reached directly from the street through a private entrance. Discover Hélios.
Cassiopée, on the 2nd floor
Cassiopée takes its name from the W-shaped constellation Cassiopeia, which helps you find the Pole Star. Renovated in 2019, it is the apartment that started it all. White and natural materials create a simple, restful atmosphere, and the main bedroom has a south-west-facing balcony to make the most of the sun. Discover Cassiopée.
Both together: a family duplex for 8
Booked together, Hélios and Cassiopée form a family duplex with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 8 people, ideal for family get-togethers and weekends with friends. See our page Le Touquet rental for 8 people.

A typical day from the villa
What the location makes possible is easier to grasp with a concrete example, as many of our guests experience it:
- In the morning, coffee on the terrace, then a few minutes' walk to the bakery and, on Thursdays or Saturdays, to Le Touquet's covered market.
- Late morning, off to the beach: 300 m on foot, bucket and spade in hand, with no need to look for a parking space.
- At lunchtime, back to the apartment for lunch and a nap for the little ones in quiet bedrooms facing the courtyard.
- In the afternoon, a bike ride in the forest or along the seafront promenade, or a stroll around the centre and its villas.
- In the evening, a barbecue on the terrace or dinner in a restaurant on rue Saint-Jean, then back on foot.
For more activity ideas, read our article on Le Touquet's architecture: the villa walk literally starts at the front door. Out of season the pleasures are the same, with the apartment's library and board games for rainy afternoons as a bonus.
Prices, booking and reviews
The apartments are available from €140 per night, with a two-night minimum, cleaning and linen included: the price shown is what you pay for the accommodation, with no end-of-stay cleaning fee to add. Prices vary with the season and the number of nights: check availability online.
Our guests' reviews, published on several platforms, highlight three points: the location that lets you do everything on foot, the quiet street and Charles's helpfulness. You can read them on our reviews page.
Who is it for?
- Families with young children, thanks to the baby equipment and the nearby beach.
- Couples and friends who want a car-free weekend.
- Large families or groups of 8, by booking both apartments.
- Remote workers who want to extend an off-season stay.
Charles's tip: for a first stay, try to arrive on a Thursday or Saturday morning, drop your bags and head straight to the covered market a few streets from the villa. You will have everything you need for a seafood dinner on the terrace on your very first evening, and you will already have slipped into the rhythm of the resort.
