The Rallye du Touquet, a springtime classic

Organised every year in March by the Touquet Auto Club, the Rallye Le Touquet-Pas-de-Calais is a round of the French Rally Championship, with a separate event for historic cars. In 2026 it opened the championship season: crew presentation on Thursday 26 March, start from Le Touquet on Friday 27 and finish in Le Touquet on Saturday 28 March, after a dozen special stages laid out in the countryside inland.

The 2027 dates have not been published yet: keep an eye on the official championship calendar and on our Le Touquet events calendar.

Why stay at Villa Mon Étoile for the rally

  • Right in the centre, 200 m from rue Saint-Jean: you can reach the start, the finish and the rally activities in Le Touquet without moving the car.
  • A real base camp: an equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, Nespresso) for an early breakfast before the stages, and a washing machine for muddy clothes.
  • Two bedrooms per apartment (one 160 cm bed and two 90 cm singles): ideal for a crew and their supporters or a group of fans.
  • Up to 8 guests when you book both apartments: 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • 8 Gb/s fibre wifi to follow live timings between stages.

Villa Mon Étoile is a 1920s Art Deco house, listed among Le Touquet's “remarkable villas”. Hélios is on the first floor and Cassiopée on the second; each has its own terrace with a barbecue.

Our tips for following the rally

  • The special stages run on country roads inland, so you will need the car to get there. Leave early: roads close well before the competitors come through.
  • Stick to the spectator areas marked out by the organisers.
  • Back in town, leave the car for the evening: our tips for parking in Le Touquet.
  • Pack boots and warm clothes: in March the countryside is often wet.

For those not following every stage

Not everyone wants to spend the day by a country road. While the enthusiasts follow the rally, the others can enjoy Le Touquet on foot: the vast beach at low tide, the pine forest, the Canche lighthouse, and the shops and cafés of rue Saint-Jean. With a baby, a high chair, travel cot and baby bath are provided. More ideas in things to do in Le Touquet.

Charles's tip: on Saturday evening, after the finish, take a sunset walk along the promenade, then have dinner on rue Saint-Jean. On Sunday, keep the morning for the beach before heading home.
