The Touquet Music Beach Festival, electronic music by the Canche

Every summer, at the end of August, the Touquet Music Beach Festival (TMB) brings big names in electronic music to L'Orangerie de la Baie, boulevard de la Canche, right on the Canche estuary. The organisers have announced the tenth-anniversary edition for 27, 28 and 29 August 2027, over three days. The line-up is revealed over the coming months on the festival's official website.

Why stay at Villa Mon Étoile for the festival

• According to the organisers, the festival site is about 15 minutes' walk from the town centre: you walk there and back, with no shuttle or car park to worry about.
• The beach is 300 m away: sun and sand by day, music by night.
• A whole, newly renovated 55 m² apartment: two bedrooms (one 160 cm bed and two 90 cm singles), a bathroom with a bath, and a washing machine for tomorrow's outfit.
• An equipped kitchen and a terrace with a barbecue for dinner before the gigs, and rue Saint-Jean 200 m away for a morning coffee.
• Bed linen and towels provided: you can travel light.

Coming as four friends or two couples? Each apartment sleeps 4. For a group of eight, book both apartments in the villa: 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on two floors.

A quiet house, so come home gently

The villa is a 1920s house where sound carries between floors. The house rules are simple: no parties in the apartments and quiet hours from 10 pm to 9 am. When you get back from the festival, tiptoe up the stairs: your neighbours will sleep better, and so will you.

Book as soon as the dates are out

The festival falls in the last week of the French summer holidays, when Le Touquet is still very busy, so accommodation within walking distance goes quickly. Secure your nights as early as possible on our booking page (two-night minimum). Booking direct gets you the best price, lower than on Airbnb.

Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 11 am. After the last night of music that may feel early, so direct guests are offered late check-out, as well as early check-in, subject to availability. Just ask when you book; everything is explained on booking direct.

Our festival tips

• Coming by train? The organisers run shuttles, bookable in advance, between Étaples-Le Touquet station and the site; see also getting to Le Touquet.
• Once you leave the festival, you can't get back in that evening: take everything you need before leaving the apartment.
• Bottles and refillable flasks are not allowed in: have a big glass of water before you set off.
• On Sunday, fit in a last swim before the drive home.

Charles's tip: have a late breakfast on the terrace, then take a long walk on the beach at low tide up to the northern dunes: the best cure after a night of music.
