The festive season in Le Touquet
From late November to early January the resort celebrates Christmas with "Si le Touquet m'était conté": a storytelling trail, ice rink, sledge run, children's village, craft chalets and fairground rides (27 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 according to the tourist office). The grand Christmas parade goes through the streets on 12 December 2026, and New Year's Eve is also celebrated at the Palais des Congrès.

A real home for the holidays

Christmas and New Year fall during the French school holidays, so they are in high demand. Book in the autumn, and consider the quieter days between the two celebrations to enjoy the winter beach and the forest.
Charles's tip: on 1 January, a sunset walk along the seafront followed by a hot chocolate on rue Saint-Jean: our favourite way to start the year.
